Geekcon Pets is an invitation-only, 36 hours ‘project based’ hackaton : building creative technologies and solutions for pets, their owners, and other animals.
Our goal is to harness creative, multi disciplinary individuals to do projects that will cause joy, playfulness and help day to day life of animals and those who raise them.
We invite talented innovators, makers, developers, designers to come together with great new tech and have fun, Geekcon style, in creating a better life and care for pets and animals.
There are two ways to come to GeekCon: suggest a project of your own, or find a project you like and request to join. Anyway, let us know your skill set and we will do our best to connect you to a running project.

Important Notes:
- submitted projects are subject to approval, so check your email after submission.
- After your project & participation is approved, saving your spot requires paying 50 Shekel symbolic earnest fee (“Dmei Retzinut”) which also buys you the event t-shirt. if you don’t want one you can contact us to get a free entrance coupon.
- Project teams will be limited up-to 4 members, if you want larger team you will need to receive special approval from the organizers.
- Do not bring your pets !
- During the event we will bring pets “models” for you to try your projects, and take some pictures. If you want to bring other pets/animals it will require our prior approval.

9:30 – 10:00 – Organizer Guidance
10:00 – 11:00 – Pitching your projects
11:00 – 23:00 – Work, eat, Hack, eat, Make, drink
23:00 – 08:00 Keep working, or get some sleep
Saturday :
08:00 – 18:00 – Work, eat, Hack, eat, Make, drink
18:00 – 20:00 – Presenting your projects (Open to public)
20:00 – 21:00 – help clean up and packing.
